Course
Quranic Studies:
Students will engage in the recitation, memorization, and understanding of the Quran. They will explore the Tajweed rules, learn to read Arabic script, and delve into the meanings and lessons found within the verses.
Islamic Beliefs:
The syllabus covers the fundamental beliefs and principles of Islam, including the concept of Tawheed (monotheism), Prophethood, the Hereafter, and the pillars of faith. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the core principles that define their faith.
Prophets and Messengers:
Students will study the lives and teachings of the Prophets and Messengers mentioned in the Quran, such as Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), Prophet Musa (peace be upon him), and others. Lessons from their stories will be drawn to inspire moral values and strengthen students’ faith.
Islamic History:
The syllabus covers significant events and personalities from Islamic history, including the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the early Islamic civilizations, and contributions of Muslim scholars and scientists. This helps students gain a broader perspective on the rich heritage of Islam.
Islamic Ethics and Character Development: The syllabus emphasizes the development of strong moral values and character traits aligned with Islamic teachings. Students will explore topics such as kindness, honesty, generosity, empathy, and compassion, and learn how to apply these virtues in their daily lives.
Salah (Prayer):
Students will learn the proper method of performing Salah (Islamic prayer), understanding its significance and the underlying spiritual aspects. Practical guidance will be provided to ensure students can establish a strong connection with Allah through prayer.
Islamic Holidays and Festivals: The syllabus includes lessons on Islamic holidays and festivals, such as Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, and the significance of fasting during Ramadan. Students will learn about the cultural and religious practices associated with these occasions.
